Asphalt geht in Sandpiste \u00fcber. Vereinzelt stehen noch einige Privath\u00e4user direkt am Strand. Auch nicht schlecht. Wie ein karibischer Traum sieht das Meer allerdings nicht aus. Wellen peitschen an den Strand. Aufgew\u00fchltes Wasser. Jeder Stein ist ein Croco. Es raschelt im Geb\u00fcsch. Morgen geht es trotzdem weiter.<br \/>\nWir wollen nach Cozumel, der gr\u00f6\u00dften Insel Mexikos und nur eine Tages-Etappe entfernt. Ber\u00fchmt ist die Insel durch Jacques Cousteau geworden.<br \/>\nDer tauchte bereits 1961 hier und erkl\u00e4rte die Riffe um Cozumel zu einem der sch\u00f6nsten Tauchreviere der Welt. Seitdem kommen Herrscharen an Tauchern und Kreuzfahr-Schiffen nach Cozumel.
