Dort errichteten sie Terrassenst\u00e4dte\u00a0in den Bergh\u00e4ngen.\u00a0Alle\u00a0zwischen 900 und 1200 Meter H\u00f6he.<\/p>\n<p>Zur Hochzeit der Tairona soll es 200 dieser Terrassenst\u00e4dte gegeben haben.<\/p>\n<p>Als die Spanier ins Land einfielen, leisteten die Tairona heftigen Widerstand. Das Christentum lehnten sie rundweg ab. Trotzdem war um 1630 auch die entlegenste Stadt der Tairona erobert. R\u00fccksichtslose Pl\u00fcnderung und die Suche nach Goldobjekten begann.<\/p>\n<p>Das Goldmuseum in Santa Marta (freier Eintritt) stellt ein paar wundersch\u00f6ne St\u00fccke aus, die\u00a0alle Pl\u00fcnderungen \u00fcberlebt haben.<br \/>\nNasenringe hatten es den Tairona besonders angetan. Dieses Volk gilt als eins der am wenigsten akkulturierte der Welt. Sie nehmen kaum Ver\u00e4nderungen und Anpassungen an fremde Kulturen an.<br \/>\nZur\u00fcck gezogen leben sie in den Bergen und pflegen ihre Traditionen.
