Mai 15, La Palma, Tag 364, 2.587 sm von HH<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Eine Querung der Insel in Ost-West-Achse bringt uns heute zuerst in die zweite Marina der Insel, nach Tazacorte.<br \/>\nDie Marina von Tazacorte ist eigentlich ganz nett, aber das Auge nimmt neben dem Bollwerk, was f\u00fcr 54 Millionen EUR hier errichtet wurde, nichts anderes mehr war.<br \/>\nBereits 1936 stand an dieser Stelle ein Schutzwall f\u00fcr den Hafen. Dieser wurde zum Schutz der Bananendampfer errichtet, denn ein brauchbarer Landweg nach Santa Cruz existierte noch nicht.<\/p>\n<p>Der Hauptzweck des Baus dieses neuen Giganten diente dem Abbau der Arbeitslosenquote von 25 Prozent und der Etablierung neuer F\u00e4hrverbindungen. Bei der Suche nach einem Picknickplatz landen wir zuf\u00e4llig in einem idyllischen Kiefernwald. Neu entstanden auf alten Lavastr\u00f6men.<br \/>\nKein Windhauch, kein Auto, kein Vogel, es ist so still, dass wir das Blut in unseren Ohren rauschen h\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n<p>Als wir nach einer sch\u00f6nen Rast weiter fahren, ist es passiert.<br \/>\nAuf einmal machen die Bremsen be\u00e4ngstigende Ger\u00e4usche. Zuletzt gab es hier einen Ausbruch 1971.<br \/>\nDer schmale K\u00fcstensaum, den es hier gibt und ein paar kleine, schwarze Lavabuchten bringen dem etwas kargen S\u00fcden ein wenig Tourismus.<br \/>\nLandschaftlich ist es hier nicht so spektakul\u00e4r, was sich erst wieder \u00e4ndert, als wir die Mitte der Insel erreichen. Die Ausblicke auf den alles beherrschenden Krater des Taburiente sind verlockend.
