Jul.15, La Palma, Tag 402, 2.587 sm<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Was nach einer spannenden, durchzechten Nacht bis zum Verlust der Muttersprache klingt, ist leider deutlich n\u00fcchterner: Es handelt sich um die Lichtverschmutzung w\u00e4hrend der Bajada.<\/p>\n<h2><small>Lichtschutz auf La Palma<\/small><\/h2>\n<p>Es gibt auf La Palma bereits seit 1988 ein Gesetzt zur Verhinderung der Licht-Verschmutzung. Urs\u00e4chlich daf\u00fcr verantwortlich ist das in den Bergen angesiedelte Observatorium.<br \/>\nDer Schutz f\u00fcr die Sternegucker geht sogar so weit, dass die Unesco (wer auch sonst?) auf La Palma das weltweit erste Starlight-Reserve zertifiziert hat.<\/p>\n<p>Auf der gesamten Erde hat die Lichtverschmutzung extrem zugenommen.<br \/>\nDer Spruch, dass man die Hand nicht vor Augen sieht, stammt aus einer Zeit der Kutschen.<br \/>\nDer hellste Ort, der in einer Studie gemessen wurde, ist das niederl\u00e4ndische Schipliuden. Mit Gl\u00fcck kann man dort noch ein paar der hellsten Sterne erkennen.<\/p>\n<p>Auf La Palma helfen gegen die Lichtverschmutzung nach unten strahlende, orange Stra\u00dfenlaternen. Diese leuchten ohne Sicherheitsverlust f\u00fcr Autos und Fu\u00dfg\u00e4nger. Leuchtreklame unterliegt strengen Regeln. Die Bajada fordert ihren Tribut.<br \/>\nDie gesamte Stadt ist illuminiert, mit Leuchtgirlanden geschm\u00fcckt und bestrahlt.
