Okt.15, La Gomera, Tag 500, 2.829 sm<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Da Achim weiterhin nicht gut zu Fu\u00df ist, leihen wir uns ein Auto f\u00fcr drei Tage.<\/p>\n<p>La Gomera ist die zweitkleinste der Kanarischen Haupt- Inseln, quasi kreisrund und hat einen Durchmesser von gerade mal 20 km.<br \/>\nWie auf La Palma gibt es hier kaum K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfen, denn die ganze Insel w\u00e4chst extrem steil aus dem Meer. Die h\u00f6chste Erhebung ist zwar nur knapp 1.500 Meter hoch, aber alle Flanken sind von steilen Schluchten zerkl\u00fcftet.<\/p>\n<p>Unser erster Weg f\u00fchrt uns ins benachbarte Playa Santiago.<br \/>\nDort befindet sich der Fischereihafen und unser potentieller Kran- und Stellplatz. Sollten wir uns tats\u00e4chlich entscheiden dort aus dem Wasser zu gehen. Der Betrieb an sich macht einen guten Eindruck. Allerdings sind \u00d6lf\u00e4sser als St\u00fctze, damit Atanga nicht umkippen kann, ein ungewohnter Anblick.<br \/>\nAu\u00dferdem hat uns der Trans-Ocean-St\u00fctzpunktleiter erz\u00e4hlt, dass dort\u00a0letztes Jahr eine Yacht umgekippt sein soll. Mit dem K\u00f6nig ist ein Guanchen-Oberhaupt der Ureinwohner La Gomeras gemeint.<br \/>\nDieses Tal ist gepr\u00e4gt vom landwirtschaftlichen Terrassenbau. Hunderte von Terrassen sind in die steilen H\u00e4nge gebaut. Der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Teil davon liegt allerdings brach, da der Tourismus leichter und schnelleren Verdienst verspricht.<br \/>\nIn den 70er Jahren begann eine hohe Landflucht und die Felder wurden sich selbst \u00fcberlassen und ver\u00f6den. Durch die Gassen sieht man alternde Hippies und Nachwuchs-Blumenkinder wandeln.<\/p>\n<p>Aber die Zeiten als angeblich nackt am Strand zu Bongo-Trommeln getanzt wurde, sind vorbei.
