Apr.16, Saint Lucia\/Rodney Bay, Tag 698, 6.418 sm von HH<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nGabi organisiert uns einen Fahrer mit Minibus f\u00fcr eine Tagestour um die Insel. Zu acht geht es um 9:00 Uhr los.<br \/>\nIch nehm es gleich vorweg: die Inseltour bekommt keine gro\u00dfartigen Noten von uns.<br \/>\nZum Teil sicherlich ein hausgemachtes Problem. Wer Touri-Spots anf\u00e4hrt, muss sich nicht wundern, wenn bereits\u00a0andere Touris dort lauern.<br \/>\nNeben den Busladungen voll Urlaubern,\u00a0lauern an jedem Aussichtspunkt oder Strand einheimische Kettenverk\u00e4ufer.<br \/>\nDie lassen\u00a0uns nach einem freundlichen &#8217;nein danke&#8216; in Ruhe, aber die anderen Touris wird man nicht so leicht los.<\/p>\n<p>Im G\u00e4nsemarsch schlendern sie durch den botanischen Garten, der beim &#8218;Diamant-Wasserfall&#8216; liegt. Begleitet von einer Reisef\u00fchrerin, die unn\u00f6tige Informationen \u00fcber die Flora durch den Urwald br\u00fcllt. Den Beinahmen &#8218;Diamond&#8216; verdankt er den Mineralien im Gestein \u00fcber die das Wasser f\u00e4llt.<br \/>\nZuerst denken wir alle, dies sei ein Wasserfall zum\u00a0Einstimmen und die viel gepriesene Attraktion wartet dahinter auf uns. Nein, leider nicht. Das ist es aber nicht, was uns abh\u00e4lt den Eintritt zu zahlen und die Schlamml\u00f6cher zu besichtigen.<br \/>\nEs sind die dr\u00e4ngenden Touris auf dem einzigen Balkon, der Sicht auf das Geschehen bietet.<\/p>\n<p>Fr\u00fcher soll man nach an die brodelnden Kraterl\u00f6cher herangekommen sein und von Guides wurden Eier auf den Steinen zur Demonstration der Hitze gebraten.<br \/>\nVor ein paar Jahren gab es einen schrecklichen Unfall und seither steht nur noch der Balkon zur Verf\u00fcgung.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere Pl\u00e4ne sahen ein Mittagessen in einem Lokal mit Blick auf die zwei Wahrzeichen von St. Lucia vor. Einen Drink zu nehmen, ist noch kein Erstattungsgrund.<br \/>\nWir k\u00f6nnen verstehen, dass die Betreiber nicht Herrscharen an knipsenden Urlaubern auf ihrer Restaurant-Terrasse umher rennen haben wollen, aber es schreckt uns trotzdem ab.<br \/>\nWir bitten unseren Fahrer im nahe gelegenen Soufri\u00e8re ein typsches Lokal zu suchen.<\/p>\n<p>Eine Frage sp\u00e4ter,\u00a0auf der Tankstelle, und wir landen direkt am Wasser in einer ganz netten Pinte.
