Und doch finden wir uns in einer anderen Welt wieder: Charlestown, mit weniger als 2.000 Einwohnern, kommt wieder karibisch daher. Das aufger\u00e4umte, etwas sterile Ambiente von Mustique ist verschwunden.<br \/>\nHier wohnen echte Menschen und diese echten Menschen feiern Pfingsten. Im Vorbeigehen gibt&#8217;s &#8218;high five&#8216; oder H\u00e4ndesch\u00fctteln.<br \/>\nPetra erz\u00e4hlen sie, dass sie nach dem Vorfall auf St. Vincent auf &#8218;ihre&#8216; Touris aufpassen. Nicht, dass wir M\u00fcll und Schutt m\u00f6gen, aber die Atmosph\u00e4re ist angenehmer.<\/p>\n<p>Beim Rundgang durch Charlestown (Dauer eine knappe Stunde) finden wir drei Friedh\u00f6fe.<br \/>\nEs scheint, dass Baul\u00fccken daf\u00fcr verwendet wurden und wenn voll, dann wird eben eine neue Baul\u00fccke gesucht.<br \/>\nGro\u00dfer Totenkult wird in der Karibik wahrlich nicht betrieben. Die Friedh\u00f6fe sehen abgerissen und verwahrlost aus. Es liegt viel Schutt und Unrat zwischen den Gr\u00e4bern.<br \/>\nSo wie der eigene Vorgarten aussieht, so auch die Friedh\u00f6fe. M\u00fcll wird \u00fcberall hin gekippt. Schutt und Baustellen-&#8222;Abf\u00e4lle&#8220; bleiben ein Leben lang vor dem eigenen Haus-Eingang liegen.
