Jun.16, Union Island\/Clifton, Tag 734, 6.537 sm von HH<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Inzwischen sind wir schon drei Tage auf Union Island.<br \/>\nUnion Island ist die s\u00fcdlichste Insel von &#8218;St. Vincent und den Grenadinen&#8216; auf der wir ausklarieren k\u00f6nnen, bevor es ins n\u00e4chste Land, nach Grenada, geht.<\/p>\n<p>Unser Liegeplatz ist nur suboptimal.<br \/>\nWir haben den Anker hinter einem Riff geworfen, \u00e4hnlich dem Au\u00dfenriff in den Cays.<br \/>\nDa es hier beengt ist, k\u00f6nnen wir nicht genug Kette auslassen, dann w\u00fcrde unser Schwoi-Kreis zu gro\u00df. Zehn Meter mehr w\u00e4ren besser.<br \/>\nDer Anker liegt zwar perfekt auf f\u00fcnf Meter, aber es wird schnell tiefer, so dass nicht genug Kette am Grund liegt.<br \/>\nUngl\u00fccklicherweise hat die Bucht bauart bedingt 100 Meter hinter uns ein weiteres Riff. Das w\u00fcrde uns unsanft stoppen, sollten wir slippen.<\/p>\n<p>Mit der Situation sind wir nur m\u00e4\u00dfig happy, aber Clifton gef\u00e4llt uns so gut, so dass wir die etwas wackelige Ankersituation billigend in Kauf nehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Cifton ist ein lebendiger, bunter Ort.<br \/>\nDa hier Tourismus eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Rolle spielt, gibt es eine Vielzahl an Bars und Kneipen. Unser Bestand an Obst und Vegies war auf Null runter, so dass wir ordentlich einkaufen.<br \/>\nEin schlacksiger Farbiger f\u00e4ngt uns gleich am Dinghy Dock ab, betreibt mit seiner Vorstellung: &#8222;Hi, I&#8217;m Hermann, the German&#8220; gro\u00dfartige Kundenbindung und f\u00fchrt uns erst zum Zoll und dann zum Ziel,\u00a0seinem Gem\u00fcse-Stand.<br \/>\nDen Verkauf \u00fcberl\u00e4sst er Frau und Tochter, die ebenfalls Marketing-Experten sind. Wir bekommen bei jedem Einkauf eine Kleinigkeit geschenkt. <img src=\"https:\/\/atanga.de\/wp-content\/plugins\/classic-smilies\/img\/icon_smile.gif\" alt=\":-)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Die Superm\u00e4rkte haben wenig zu bieten. Ein paar Konserven, Ketchup und Putzmittel.<br \/>\nUnd die obligatorische Mehl-Ecke. Mit eigener Mauer, Podesten f\u00fcr die Grabsteine, nur f\u00fcr die Adams.
