Jun.16, Union Island\/Clifton, Tag 738, 6.537 sm von HH<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Im Juni beginnt nicht nur offiziell die Hurrikan Saison, sondern auch die Regenzeit.<br \/>\nNormaler Weise h\u00e4lt sich Wetter ja nicht an den Kalender. In diesem Fall schon.<br \/>\nRegenf\u00e4lle h\u00e4ufen sich.<\/p>\n<p>Nat\u00fcrlich ist eine Menge Wind mit dabei. Mehr als uns lieb ist. Das f\u00fchrt soweit, dass wir mitten in der Nacht im Cockpit sitzen und Ankerwache halten. Wie schon gesagt, die Ankersituation ist in Clifton nicht optimal.<\/p>\n<p>Von oben kann man gut sehen, wie vertrackt hier die Lage ist. Winddreher aus S\u00fcd legen uns, gef\u00fchlt, nur drei Meter vor den klapprigen Zweimaster. Das niedliche Dinghy Dock in Clifton ist randvoll mit dem Zeug. Die werfen mit Steinen nach einem Baum.<br \/>\nHilfe, nein, nicht nach dem Baum, sondern nach einem Leguan.<br \/>\nEs ist so ein Gro\u00dfer, wie wir neulich auf den Tobago Cays gesehen haben.<\/p>\n<p>Der soll im Kochtopf landen, soviel ist klar.<br \/>\nEin zweiter hat bereits sein Leben ausgehaucht. Offensichtlich ist das Jagen von Leguanen verboten, denn als ein Auto vorbei kommt, wird\u00a0das\u00a0Werfen unterbrochen\u00a0und das tote Tier wird verborgen.<\/p>\n<p>Wir werden ignoriert und vor unseren Augen wird weiter geworfen.<br \/>\nEin\u00a0Depp\u00a0steht unter dem Baum und muss aufpassen, dass er keinen Stein an den Kopf bekommt. Er\u00a0soll das Tier fangen, wenn es f\u00e4llt.<br \/>\nWir gehen weiter und nur einen Augenblick sp\u00e4ter\u00a0landen sie einen Treffer.<br \/>\nDem Tier wird schnell und effizient der Sch\u00e4del an einer Betonkante eingeschlagen. <img src=\"https:\/\/atanga.de\/wp-content\/plugins\/classic-smilies\/img\/icon_eek.gif\" alt=\":shock:\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Die armen Tiere.<br \/>\nAber kann man den Jungs das ver\u00fcbeln? Das Angebot an Fleisch ist d\u00fcnn auf den Inseln. Dazu noch teuer.
