{"id":6861,"date":"2016-09-19T02:58:00","date_gmt":"2016-09-19T02:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/atanga.de\/?p=6861"},"modified":"2016-10-21T12:41:08","modified_gmt":"2016-10-21T12:41:08","slug":"marshall-falls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atanga.de\/?p=6861","title":{"rendered":"Marshall-Falls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fr., 16.Sep.16, Guyana-Hurakabra, Tag 839, 7.092 sm von HH<\/p>\n<p>Waehrend die Ausfluege der letzten Tage alle kostenpflichtig waren (und das nicht zu knapp &#8211; mein Flug gestern haut mit 328 USD rein), kommen wir heute in den Genuss eines gesponserten Trips.<br \/>\nDer Tourismus-Verband, der so gern einen Anstieg von Yacht-Besuchen sehen wuerde, zieht die Spendierhosen aus: Wir werden in zwei gecharterte Speedboote geladen und schiessen wir den Essequibo und Mazaruni-River flussaufwaerts.<\/p>\n<p>Zwei mal 200 PS druecken uns in die Baenke.<br \/>\nDie alte Hubraum-Regel gilt auch hier: PS ist durch nichts zu ersetzen. Ausser durch noch mehr PS. <img src=\"https:\/\/atanga.de\/wp-content\/plugins\/classic-smilies\/img\/icon_smile.gif\" alt=\":-)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Als wir den spiegelglatten Fluss gegen kleine Stromschnellen eintauschen, beginnt der Spass erst richtig. Unser Fahrer weiss hoffentlich was er tut. Gischt spritzt. Der Rumpf knall hart aufs Wasser.<br \/>\nAchtung, festhalten. Schon kommt der naechste Flug, der naechste Schlag. Was fuer ein Fun! Klar, koennte man den Fluss auch langsam bereisen, versuchen Tiere zu sehen und die Natur zu geniessen. Aber das ist eine andere Geschichte. <img src=\"https:\/\/atanga.de\/wp-content\/plugins\/classic-smilies\/img\/icon_wink.gif\" alt=\";-)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Am oertlichen Gefaengnis und den mickrigen Resten eines Fords machen wir kurze Fotostopps. Das eigentliche Ziel liegt weiter in den Dschungel hinein.<br \/>\nDie Marshall-Falls. Die koennen natuerlich nicht mit den sensationellen Faellen von gestern mithalten, bieten fuer Wagemutige aber eine besondere Attraktion. Wer sich traut eine zwei Meter hohe Stufe zu erklimmen, hat die Gelegenheit hinter einem Wasserfall zu hocken.
