Der Norden ist recht gr\u00fcn, allerdings nicht tropisch \u00fcppig bewachsen, sondern Kakteen-W\u00e4lder dominieren den Bewuchs. Da kommen wir mit unserem albernen Kia &#8218;Picanto&#8216; nicht hinein.<br \/>\nZuerst sind wir sauer, dass unser Auto-Vermieter das nicht erw\u00e4hnt hat.<br \/>\nAllerdings ist sowieso der halbe Park gesperrt, unpassierbar\u00a0seien die unbefestigten Stra\u00dfen. Der Parkw\u00e4chter empfiehlt uns als Alternative eine zwei-St\u00fcndige Wanderung und die erweist sich als ein super Tipp.<\/p>\n<p>Kleine Trampelpfade f\u00fchren durch den Kakteen-Wald.<br \/>\nKakteen kommen (bis auf eine einzige Ausnahme) nur auf dem amerikanischen Kontinent vor, geh\u00f6ren zu den langlebigen &#8222;Str\u00e4uchern&#8220; und sind nicht meine Lieblingspflanzen. Selbst blattf\u00fchrende Pflanzen, wie Akazien, haben Dornen. Eine Wiederauf-Forstung gestaltet sich schwierig, da Ziegen und Esel alle Scho\u00dflinge verbei\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<p>Richtung K\u00fcste wird der Bewuchs sp\u00e4rlicher und h\u00f6rt schlie\u00dflich ganz auf. Die Ostseite mit den ungebremsten Wellen der Karibik ist nahezu strandlos, rau und dramatisch.<br \/>\nEine attraktive Tour auf der wir komplett alleine sind, obwohl die Saison begonnen hat und ein gro\u00dfer Kreuzer im Hafen liegt. Alles ist frisch und bunt gestrichen. Wobei die Lieblings-Farbe der Bonairer ein sattes Ocker-Gelb zu sein scheint. Man hat keine Angst, fr\u00f6hliche, grelle Farben als Gruften-Bemalung einzusetzen. Wer es lieber wei\u00df mag, schm\u00fcckt die Front der Grabst\u00e4tte mit Relief-Platten und Porzellan-Tellern, die beim Streichen der Gruft schon mal etwas Farbe abbekommen.<br \/>\nDie Teller
